Patrick Sharrow is a Nashville-based Roots Rock/Americana singer-songwriter. With over 14 years of experience as a performer, he has garnered quite the reputation in town for being a powerful frontman and lead vocalist whose skills and creativity on the guitar have made him a highly sought after session musician and a valuable commodity on the road. Born and raised in Upstate NY, Patrick cut his teeth at an early age performing in dive bars and beer halls throughout the northeast. As a multi-instrumentalist, Patrick has developed a unique songwriting style, drawing upon musical influences ranging from Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and The Eagles to more contemporary icons such as Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton and Ryan Adams. His songs explore the human condition and project the ideal blend of homegrown lyrical honesty with catchy, yet biting melodies. “Patrick Sharrow has long been heralded as one of the brightest young stars in Nashville” Says Iain McArthur (Rockfiend Publications) In 2020, after releasing his debut EP, ‘Closing Arguments’, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, the recording capital of the world to pursue a career in music full time. “Originally from upstate New York, he’s been playing the Downtown bar scene and paying his dues as a session musician before finally getting his turn in the spotlight with this splendid debut album.”

“When you see him live, you get it instantly. He’s a young guy, but you can hear it throughout his music–from the ingenuity in his guitar playing, to the passion in his voice, to the almost iconic blue-collar-ballad quality of his songwriting–Patrick Sharrow isn’t just going places, in many ways he’s already there.” (Maxwell Wheeler, Bernadette Booking)

Patrick released his first full-length studio album, ‘The Heartland’ on August 20, 2023. The project was recorded at Sienna Studios in Nashville, formerly known as Quadraphonic Sound Studios which hosted artists such as Joe Walsh and The James Gang, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, George Strait, Toby Keith, Grand Funk Railroad & Lady A. The legendary studio was also the birthplace of Neil Young’s classic album ‘Harvest’ and Jimmy Buffet’s ‘Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Altitudes’ which features his biggest hit ‘Margaritaville’. ‘The Heartland’ covers a wide variety of musical styles and subject matter, as well as several special guest appearances from Nashville artists Jax Hollow and Emily Grace McGill. “The single ‘Lightning in the Jetstream’ is the opening number. It follows a timeless tradition of ‘high school sweetheart in the back of a car’ songs in the style of ‘Jack and Diane’ or ‘Summer of 69’...A lonesome keyboard introduces the ‘road’ song ‘Highway Home’ before Patrick adds a warm vocal and tasteful guitar. He’s been down a few roads for sure and even sailed most of the seven seas in pursuit of his dreams so it’s an authentic-sounding take from someone who is clearly comfortable with the life of a rolling stone.” (Iain McArthur, Rockfiend)

Keep your eyes and ears peeled for new music from Patrick Sharrow and a winter tour in support of ‘The Heartland’ kicking off in December.
